Moshe Taubé (born 1927), cantor and academic, holds acclaim as a musician. He was a popular concert performer in Israel in the 1950s and later became a successful recording artist in the United States, in addition to his primary career foci of cantoring and scholarship. His musical studies began there at a young age.
